This transformative 4-session workshop was designed to encourage participants to work on their autonomy and self-awareness. By exploring their own values and needs, attendees discovered how to ignite their intrinsic motivation for achieving sustainable goals and initiating meaningful change. The sessions emphasized shifting from external motivators to internal drivers for lasting impact.

Inspiration and Foundation:
This workshop was deeply influenced by two significant resources:

Book: Why We Do What We Do: Understanding Self-Motivation by Edward L. Deci and Richard Flaste. This book challenges traditional motivational methods and advocates for fostering autonomy to inspire genuine engagement and commitment.
Course: Motivation and Factors Affecting Motivation from Open University. This course provided theoretical insights and practical applications, offering a holistic understanding of the driving forces behind motivation.

Key Insights Integrated:
Need Achievement Theory: Balancing the drive to succeed with the fear of failure to create achievable milestones and foster a growth mindset.
Attribution Theory: Helping participants focus on controllable factors such as effort and strategy to build resilience and accountability.
Three Views of Motivation: Tailoring the workshop to align personal traits with situational dynamics, fostering an environment that supports both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators.
